Nod & The Dogs
Hot off the press comes news that the de LeZ Fan Club Band are renaming themselves "Nod & The Dogs". As reported last month, the band are recording a limited edition CD of classic rock cover tunes. "It's a collection of completely live recordings" said Otis Vaters, "there'll be no trickery whatsoever." Season's Greetings It is of course that time of year again, and here at the Nod The Dog Productions office we are surrounded by tinsel, fairies and shiny baubles. The women have all gone off to do battle at the shops, and the children have become fascinated by old men with white beards. But spare a thought this year for the many starving musicians out there trying to make ends meet. Not the 'pop idols' or the wannabe famous types ritually humiliating themselves on TV for the chance to be groomed into some commercial manufactured pap. Our thoughts are with the genuinely talented and creative types who are trying to make original music on a shoestring. God bless ye and Merry Christmas! ~ |
de LeZ It has become customary for us to feature a news item about de LeZ in The Daily Nod, and this month is no exception. Despite no musical output whatsoever from de LeZ recently (it is rumoured that he has fallen in love, and is even shunning his many female admirers!), we do have news of the de LeZ Corvette race team.
Following a disastrous start; when de LeZ destroyed the driver's door of his Corvette while attempting to park in his garage (with one leg outside the car!), the one man team has gone from bad to worse! The RAC had to be called out when de LeZ locked his keys inside the vehicle, after which the great man proceeded to pull the rear spoiler off his back up car. Never mind de LeZ, perhaps you'll have more luck in the new Pressdatin studios! ~ |
