Bassist with The Dog's Bollox!

The gentleman bass player with the hands of a gynaecologist, Tarquin emerged from a Heswall coal mine in 1965 – the result of his father forgetting his packed lunch* It is thought that the low emanations of the machinery underground were the first noises Tarquin heard, thus inspiring his love of bass guitar.

* Finding the lunch left on the kitchen table his heavily pregnant mother had chased after Tarquin’s father and followed him down the pit to ensure that he had a healthy meal. Upon reaching the coalface her waters broke and she promptly went into labour whereupon a team of worried miners delivered Tarquin. Ironically, his father no longer had an appetite for lunch.
